How can I find my server hostname?

All servers have an IP address and most well configured servers will also have a configured hostname which allows you to directly connect over HTTP/HTTPS. When you purchase a hosting package with us details including your server details are contained within your welcome email.

If you need a reminder, get in touch with our support team or find your server inside the manage services section of the client area.

Why do I need the hostname?

Your servers hostname can be useful for quickly accessing your control panel or server. Because the server’s name isn’t tied to your domain name, issues with your domain won’t prevent access to your hosting account.

For cPanel or Plesk users, you can use the servers name to reach key pages including:

cPanel Login – https://server.tld/cpanel or 2083

WHM Login – https://server.tld/whm or :2087

cPanel Webmail – https://server.tld/webmail

Plesk Login – https://server.tld:8443

Below is an example welcome email which you should receive after signup.
